Absolutely LOVED the food! My husband and I came in on a Monday night after a long day and everything was amazing! The waitress was so nice and she recommended amazing selections. The chips and salsa were great and we tried the chancho, shrimp, asada tacos and chicken enchilada- and the rice and beans. And Mexican cokes in glass bottles. Everything exceeded our expectations and it was our first time trying Don Sebas and it was delicious! We also tried the Tamarindo drink that our waitress recommended and that was delicious as well! Don Sebas is a gem! We also really enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the restaurant. We’ll be back for sure!
Biked here for the first time since moving to the area. This place does not disappoint and we will be returning. We went on a Saturday for lunch. The place was busy but the wait staff hustled. We noticed that that there was a full bar with a separate seating area, we’ll have to check that out on our next trip. My wife had delicious fish tacos and I had the menudo, which is only served on weekends. Everything was fresh, the beer was cold and the chips and salsa were abundant. Good atmosphere and family friendly.
(Update) Okay, we’ve been here three times in the last week and are systematically making our way through the menu. Today (Thursday) they have $8 appetizers and from 3-6 pm they do drink specials. We got the loaded Asada fries with Micheladas to drink. Both were very tasty! Of the four tacos we had, Chacho (crispy pork belly) and Asada were the best. We also had their corn salad as a side…it was good because of the fresh corn, but my wife’s street corn salad is better, sorry Don Sebas.
After three visits to Don Sebas what I’ve noticed most is the extremely friendly staff! Seriously they should be proud of their reputation in this regard!
We’ll be back and hope to make Don Sebas one of our go-to local watering holes.
Taco Tuesdays at Don Sebas Taqueria is a must. Amazing food at reasonable prices. I’ve been twice and each time is amazing. Service is quick and food is delicious. Only downside is the parking. It’s a small lot so get there early!
Outstanding food being served by outstanding people. The employees are all happy and they show that they’re committed. Even another server was asking me if they could get something for me while our server was helping other customers. Take the server’s recommendation for what to eat — you won’t be disappointed.

We have been meaning to check this place out. What better day than on Father’s Day! I took the best daddy figure in my kids life to Don Sebas Taqueria, a small joint located right off the pw parkway. There is parking and a short walk inside. They have an accessibility ramp for those who need it. It has a happy hour bar/diner vibe but great customer service. You can take a seat at the bar or choose a table or booth. We sat in a booth by the window and ordered a guava margarita (server recommended this one or passion fruit) so good! and chicken/steak fajitas with rice and beans on the side. Great music! It came with tortillas and pico de gallo, guac, and lettuce. Yum! Big flavor in every bite. Great staff, very attentive. We enjoyed our experience and will
Definitely be back!
The closest thing to San Diego carne asada tacos we’ve found in Virginia. They just need to master a California burrito and we’ll be here every week. 🌯 The service here is always personable, we eat here frequently and they always welcome us back. Food comes out fast and the margaritas are delicious. Pineapple margaritas are my favorite!
This is hands down the absolute best Mexican food you can get in Woodbridge. Lots of places here but this one just nails it. Small and homey, with a great staff. The bartenders here are the best. They always remember your name and what you like. I highly recommend.
so the reviews don't lie this place is a winner. I'm happy to report as a longtime Californian that the flavors are authentic the service is warm and generous and the overall experience a pleasant surprise.
This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, which I think is a good thing. It's got a good atmosphere on the inside with a small bar in the corner. The food is great. Enchiladas with poblana sauce are great. All the tacos are awesome. The corn tortillas taste fresh and the meat is good quality. We tried the fish, asada, pollo, and the birria quesataco. The sides are good especially the esquitas. The salsa they bring out before the meal is very good. The service is great. Our server was very pleasant and explained everything she wanted us to know. Definitely will be going back here.
The food is amazing! One of the top authentic Mexican restaurants in Woodbridge. A must-visit if you are in the area.
