My all time favorite dessert spot. Their ube cakes are to die for, their mocha version is spot on. The cakes are fluffy and moist, their individual packaging is a plus too. Buy 6, get one free. For$3 a cake, it’s well worth the price!
It’s one of my favorite bakery. I’m so addicted to their chicken empanada which I always buy boxes of it and I can eat it till I can’t no more. It also has lots of varieties of bread choices! Their cake are not that sweet and it’s very tasty!
Red ribbon is an amazing bakery. I love their chocolate moist Cake and moist Choco slice. Their customer service is amazing. Great location. The inside is so beautiful. I bought cake from them few times for birthday occasion. I got to try their halo halo and mocha mamon.😋
I love Red Ribbon cakes! ❤️ This is the cake I grew up with. This Supreme Mango cake is one ☝️ of their best selling! It’s not so sweet like the other cakes out there that all you can tastes is the SUGAR! Red Ribbon cakes are not like that. Their cakes are so tasty 😋 and delicious! I love it! ❤️
Can't believe I haven't reviewed Red Ribbon, this is after all one of our stops whenever we go to Woodside Queens (coming all the way from Manhattan) for our Filipino food fix. So grateful they're around and certainly satisfies all the cravings.
Drove yesterday to get 2 birthday cakes for the hubby. First and foremost, I called thinking I need to place an order and will just pick it up. Apparently they're already open and Lito, who I spoke to on the phone, even encouraged me to look for him to assist me. I never got to ask for him because there were only 4 customers allowed inside and it went by pretty quick!
Love how it feels extra clean and safe inside. You can no longer personally touch the baked products, you'll just order it and they'll pack it for you so less risk of exposure to anything potentially transmitted. Provides peace of mind.
As for the order itself, my husband requested for his favorite Yema Cake and I added my favorite Chocolate Mousse cake. So so so GOOD! As always, they were a hit to our non-Filipino guests and family members (they always end up asking where to buy and me being the ambassador and endorser of the brand) and to my hubby who's been won over by Filipino food and taste. ♥️
Our other must-buys and favorites here are mamon (sponge cake like), Choco Moist, Ube Cheese Ensaymada, and of course the Ube Cake. Any Ube lover would absolutely be obsessed by this cake, trust me! :) They also have savory food and we absolutely love their Chicken Empanada and Arroz Caldo. They're also very famous for their Palabok and Halo Halo (when we were first dating, I brought my husband here and he absolutely loved it) and have quite the customer following for these and more.
My absolute highest recommendation! Thank you Red Ribbon for being here! Manhattan branch soon, please? =)
Red Ribbon is one of our favorite bake shops in the Philippines. So we decided to visit this store here in woodside, N.Y to taste the fluffy mammons, ensaymadas and Mango Bars (I've never tasted this before. This is good if you will share it with someone, because if you're going to finish it on your own... it will be toooo sweet).
So back to the Fluffy Mammons, ensaymadas etc... All I can say is... IT SURE TASTEs the same! And I love it! Feels like I'm visiting the Red Ribbon shops in the Philippines :p
Overall area is clean and tidy. 5 stars for that! The lady in the cashier is nice and accommodating. They also make sure to stack up or to fill up the bread area so that customers will have no problem in selecting their dasired cakes, rolls, bars etc. 5 stars for that too. :)
Can't wait to come back and buy some more goodies! Missing the Sansrival cake, ube cake and chocolate mousse too :9
The coconut macaroons were my fav. I love coconut and I enjoyed them very much. We also recommend the mango cake roll for a smaller version of the mango cake. Delicious!!
Ube cake was amazing! Mango cake, not so much… good but compared to Ube, yeah… Mamon were ok, tasted plain. Great friendly service. No lines. Would return. Two thumbs up.
Went here to try their Ube Cake. It was beautifully decorated with a decent size at a fantastic price. The outside layer felt like there were little pieces of crumbly purple cake stuck all over it. The taste of the cake was good overall for Filipino Bakery shops in the area, but we have had better. The Halo Halo dessert drink was very sweet, and it wasn't filled up all the way which we didn't notice until we got back to our car. Alot of other cakes and pastries buns to try as well with most or all being pre-packaged.
Bought a bunch of breads and desserts, loved it 😍
Picked up a Choco Mocha Crunch Cake for a work event today, and all my co-workers (who are non-Filipino) loved it! Very light and tasty, and the crunchy topping (which is packaged separately) was a big hit. Don't forget to bring a reusable bag if you think you'll need to carry the cake box in a bag, or you'll need to buy one from them.
Always loved coming here for their palabok, sans rival, mango cake and mamom! The managers are extremely friendly and accommodating as well as the staff members. Shout to Ms. Alexa and Mr. Kd for taking the time and visit Red Ribbon of Queens!!
