The LinWood area has needed a place like this for awhile. Food is great, good beer selection and good staff. Now I don't have to drive to Plymouth for a good sandwich.
This place is what Lincoln has been looking for. Stellar sandwiches, killer beer selection and a super friendly staff. You're doing yourself a favor by stopping in here!
A great selection of beer and they are generous with samples!! My sandwich was one of the specials and it was absolutely incredible. I'd drive my western Mass to eat here again.
I stopped in to order a corned beef & swiss cheese on rye bread with yellow mustard for a late lunch to go... they made it pannini style and it was absolutely amazing!! Try this place, you won't be disappointed!!

Nice local bar. We ordered the Classic burger and BBQ bacon burger, which were both good. We asked the bartender for a taste of two local beers, but she poured full glasses of each, so apparently she didn't understand what we asked for. The TNF game was aired on only one TV (they are trying to remedy that). They have a pool table and a shuffleboard.
So we made the mistake of not making any reservations to eat in Lincoln, NH while we were in town hiking, and enjoying the autumn atmosphere. Everyplace was we went was a 2 hour wait. I kept driving and we wound up in North Woodstoch, NH... about a 5 minute drive. Im glad I did keep on driving. I immediately found a parking spot across the street and walked in. It was busy but we were seated at the bar and the bar tenders and locals were very friendly. We ordered the loaded potato skins as an App, The Roast n Roll and Wicked good Specialty Sandwhiches for dinner. We also had the Raspberry Margaritas before dinner arrived. Everything was top notch. food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Next time we are in the area we will make sure we eat there again. Thanks for a great experience.
We stopped here for a late lunch. We ordered chicken wings with sweet chili sauce as our appetizer. It was very flavorful. We had the sandwiches on ciabatta bread with French fries and onion rings. Some of the onion rings were so salty it was difficult to enjoy. The sandwiches were delicious. The service was very good.
Several local microbrews on draft, and wholesome food fairly priced, including poutine. Pool table and nice decorations. Biker crowd. Clean bathroom and decent service. Convenient location.
Ok, it you want a friendly place to just hang, play pool or shuffle board, or even just to drink and chill, this is the place. The bartender greets you coming in and is so laid back, you instantly have a new friend. The wait staff are just as awesome. I have never been here before and found it fantastic! I was laughing and joking with them while awaiting my date and I didn't even care if he never showed, I was enjoying myself that much. Can't wait to come again!

Wow we were blown away.
The menu looked good and we had been there previously with different owners. This was a completely different experience. We started with the tater tots and damn.. They were tasty. I ordered the haddock plate while my buddy ordered the meat lovers flat bread. In addition we ordered some draft beers that were tasty. The service was absolutely fun and fantastic. We really enjoy places that can have fun and not be overly stuffy. The taters were kind of amazing to be honest. They didn't have an overwhelming amount of stuff on them and they were crispy and soft. Slick. My fish plate was great and as usual I ordered my fries a wee bit on the crispy side. Chef got it and they were yummy. I mean you have to understand there are fries and there are Fries. Well done chef. The flatbread was mouth watering and yummy. I was given a piece at the end and it was yummy. Have I mentioned the staff? We'll be back and are adding this place to our regular repertoire for our visits to this region. Solid food solid staff. What else do you want. We may have had 3 drinks each so keep that in mind if you look at what we paid. Very reasonable if you ask us.
We found this place randomly last night and was the best meal we had during our whole 7-day vacation so we came back today. Hands down the best garlic bread with cheese. Amazing food all around with a great waitress and manager! Picture of garlic bread, Italian sub and clam strips because they were the best! The outdoor seating was spacious and comfortable. Our kids also really enjoyed the smash burgers and gumball machine.
Cool place with the food being extremely delicious. Classic burger and the buffalo chicken bites hit the spot after a hike. Coors lite was also freezing cold and just what I needed.
I will say that I thought the bartender was a bit odd. I was going to stay for more drinks but she seemed to be pushing me out and brought me the receipt prior to finishing my meal (only had 2 beers btw). Not sure if she was leaving and needed to be cashed out but it is what it is. Won’t deter me from going back again
Great place, great staff, no wait. Food was delicious. Plenty of drink options and beer. Only gave 4 stars for food cause the FF were cooked enough for my liking, but the smash burger, fried whole mushrooms, tater tot appetizer were awesome. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was a mix of families and adults. They have pool table, foozball table and shuffleboard table. The town was busy and we were happy to be able to be seated and eat in a very quick manner. Definately go back.
The smash burgers at a Merland's are exceptional. Both our Carmie Smashburger and our BBQ Bacon Smashburger were packed with tasty, crispy, beefy goodness. Complex flavors abound and compliment the seared beef patties. We ate here last year on vacation and make it a point to return while in the area.
The fries are standard hand cut fries - good but not totally amazing like the burgers are.
The kids menu has the standard assortment of foods that kids expect - my boys were happy.
We have only eaten in the outdoor patio area, and it is nice. It can get hot bordering on the parking lot, but the umbrellas shade you nicely.
Service has been solid on both visits to the restaurant. We plan to return again when in the area.
