The service is excellent as is the food!! Portions are nice size, I had excellent baked clams and my dinner was cheese ravioli which were delicious.. I highly recommend this restaurant..

I have been coming to this place for a few years now, my sister and brother in law Joe and Michele Raza turned me on to this fantastic eatery!! I am a salad man and the salad is to die for!! Service is friendly, food always to perfection!! I travel from Jersey for this place.

My husband and I have been Coming for years. We love Rigo, Evangelos and the rest of the staff. We feel so welcomed. The food is exquisite and piping hot. Our favorite place to eat

The staff went above and beyond for my sister's celebration dinner. Even though they were full to the capacity, they accomodated us with finding a table for a few extra guests. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. A true 5 star restaurant.

I have been a customer since the first place on central avenue opened . I have never been disappointed the owners are great the waiters are very attentive and the food is my favorite part of this establishment .Best Italian food around. And even just for a cheese burger they beat all the burger joints . The burgers have such a great charbroiled taste . The soups are to die for .I do not know what they do when they make a house salad but it is like grandma s salads growing up I love them. Matter a fact I'm going for some burgers and soup tonight just thinking about it

Louie & Johnnie's is a great spot to get good Italian Food. The service and atmosphere is nice. Prices are on par with other Italian restaurants in the area. Had Spaghetti with Sausage and Meatballs. Food tasted fresh. The pasta was cooked just right. If your in the neighborhood or visiting Empire Casino Louie & Johnnie's won't disappoint if your hungry!

Food is good and generous portions. Service is exceptional. Lots of attention from wait staff. Very cozy family environment.

It's always a delight to eat at Louie & Johnnie's. I've been here a few times for birthdays and the food and service never disappoint! Needless to say, I recommend starting with the fried calamari, and garlic bread topped with melted cheese. *drool* The last time I was here, I had the NY Shell steak, medium rare, topped with mushrooms. Finally, the dessert special was the banana pudding cake. Ask for it! They might have it when you're there.

Today I had a wonderful lunch with friends at Louie & Johnnie's. If you are not familiar with them, let me tell you a little bit about their ristorante with "regional italian cuisine." Louie & Johnnie's is located on Yonkers Ave right across from Yonkers raceway in Yonkers, NY. ( Yes I just said Yonkers three times in one sentence...lol) It's centrally located, between the Bronx, where I was coming from and a hop away from Westchester where my friends were. Louie & Johnnie's offer indoor dine-in seating with waiter service, a dine-in self serve pizzeria cafe as well as outdoor dining. You can take out and have delivery too. There's parking in the back with a handicap access ramp leading directly into the restaurant. There's also a full bar as well which I almost forgot about because I don't drink but go ahead if that's what you enjoy! 🍷 Okay so now let's focus on the delicious lunch experience from today. We didn't know that Louie & Johnnie's had a fabulous lunch special menu which includes a house salad, choice of entree with a side dish of pasta or potato croquette and a fountain soda. There must have been 25 dishes ( or more ) to choose from. The lunch specials are served Monday thru Saturday 11:30am-3:00pm. They range from $15.95-$21.95 We all chose from the special menu today. Let me say this...the food was spectacular and the service was amazing! The bread was warm and comforting. We all enjoyed a house salad which included lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, olives, tomatoes with their house dressing which was very flavorful. For our main course choices we had the fillet of sole francese, the eggplant parmigiana and the rigatoni filetto di pomodoro all pictured below. I personally ordered the sole and it was so light and flaky. I tasted the rigatoni and it was outstanding. I didnt taste the eggplant but my friend was raving about it. She said "it was so delicious!" We finished up with espressos cappuccinos, a cannoli and a warm apple tart with vanilla gelato and whipped cream. I put a dollop of the whip cream on top of my cappuccino...mmmmm. I'll tell you this, who needs to go downtown to Little Italy when you enjoy an exquisite lunch at Louie & Johnnie's. I have been here many times before and can't wait to go again. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. You MUST go there. I KNOW you'll enjoy it as much as I always do!! Enjoy!!

This was a late visit, so we sat in the pizzeria. Food was super as usual. We had a large pie and a house salad. It's huge and healthy. Oh, I did sneak in a Gelato. Great authentic Italian food. They have indoor booths and you can sit at the bar inside the pizzeria. They even have outdoor seating if you get takeout and want to eat there. I will do another review of the fine dining room on my next visit. Street parking and valet if you choose.

Absolutely the best Italian food, generous portions, a reasonable price. I pre order then pick up my food for take out. They have a bar inside too which I havent tried yet. Highly recommend!💯👍
