Had an absolutely amazing dinner here Friday night. The staff were very nice and our waitress was truly wonderful! We ordered some spicy Bloody Mary oyster shooters, crab legs, and the chips with blue cheese and bacon as an appetizer. The table ordered a burger (cooked perfectly to order), the fried oyster roll, and the pan-seared Chesapeake Bay rockfish. Key lime tart for dessert. The entire meal was fantastic. I highly recommend it here! Can’t wait to go back!! �
We made reservations through Open Table for 6:00pm on a Friday night. Greeted warmly and sat right away. Our waiter, Peter, was perfect. We shared a Lobsta Roll and coleslaw as an appetizer. I had a crab cake with French fries and more coleslaw because it was THAT good. My husband had blackened shrimp with Cajun pasta. We loved everything! The manager brought us our check and asked how everything was. We were there an hour from being seated to paying our bill, which is fast for a Friday night. It’s a pricey restaurant, but worth the splurge. We will definitely be back!!
Our food was amazing!!!! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have celiac disease and since I couldn't have any of the desserts on the menu the chef made me a creme brule' which was made perfectly!!! We will definitely be returning�

Had superb service and incredible food...incredible! We tried at the perfect time, which was Happy Hour. Their apps were 1/2 off and for the size and quality of food, it was a great to time sample and try new things. The décor was awesome; rustic but raw but laid out beautifully. A definite place we will return to!!

Rockfish has very quickly became my favorite new restaurant! Excellent service, fantastic dishes! Best fish tacos I’ve ever had, and I order them anytime I come across them on a menu! Give Rockfish Public House a try, you won’t be sorry!
Beyond excellent service and the food was ahhhhhhmmaaazzziiinnng! Some of the best crab cakes I’ve had to date!
We made a reservation for last night (4/6) and the table was ready and waiting for us when we got there. Our server (can’t recall her name, but she was Irish :) ) was awesome and patient with us, as we took a while to order drinks and look over the menu. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. The cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter cake was phenomenal, as was the coffee! We had a great time and really enjoyed the food and excellent service.

Rockfish is one of the finest places I’ve dined. The atmosphere was upscale but comfortable. The cocktails and entrees were absolutely delightful. Not pictured was the coconut rice and it is an absolute must have when you visit. The best part about our evening was our server, Savannah. She gave us 160% effort in giving us an amazing evening while making us feel like we were her only table… when she was indeed very busy with other tables. Incredible is an understatement!
Everything was absolutely delicious! Our waitress, Amanda was fantastic and attentive. We live 4 hours away, but would make that drive to return for the grilled bread alone. The seafood pasta was out of this world amazing! We also had the Nashville chicken appetizer and spiced fish tacos. Fantastic meal, great cocktails (that mango mojito!!), cozy atmosphere, great prices, highly recommend.

This is a simple review for me because everything that hit the table for our party of 10 was very good. This restaurant is probably a top 5 restaurant in York for similar cuisine. The First Post, Eagle's Nest, Rockfish are easily making the list. With an edge to Rockfish over Eagle's Nest, for sure. The other two spots I'm reserving until I try a few other area restaurants, but I have also had a great experience at Tutoni's as well.
The food at Rockfish was 'inspired' and well executed. I don't really even know what "inspired" means. But it's the first thing that came to mind. Classic, but inspired. From the menu classics, like calamari, oysters, fish and Chips, to the new England clam chowder, that were executed very well. And then the more interesting menu items, like the Calabrian shrimp and linguine, poke nachos, and oyster stew -- I have zero complaints.
Service was good. The person paying for our meal screwed the server on tip, but I did not find this out until after we left. So I apologize for that. I contributed $60 toward the bill for tip, only to find out the person paying gave 10% and pocketed the rest of what I contributed. That's very disappointing and it embarrasses me.
Atmosphere is great. I love the vibe, and the upscale intimacy, that is yet... still family friendly and accessible to many.
Thanks for a great meal. We will be back, and next time, I'll manage the check.
Food was delicious and Brittney, our server, was very attentive and didn't rush us. The flash fried Harris Chesapeake Oysters are the best and number 1 reason we go there. Tried the shrimp and crab egg rolls. WOW! They have become another go to for me. Hubby loves the New England clam chowder with bacon and the fried clam strips. The drinks were exceptional as well. The Spiced Pear Old Fashioned and the Cranberry variation were both YUM. Will definitely return soon.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Our waitress was attentive and the environment was upscale, but relaxed. We ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, which had enough lobster to have a sizeable piece with every bite. We also got the hot lobster roll. It could have used a bit more butter, but was loaded with lobster. We will be back again!
The food and service were amazing. Our waitress, Amanda, was super--she had great recommendations and input and was very attentive. She was awesome. We got the seafood nachos, seafood linguine, and crab-stuffed lobster tail-- all of which were delicious and very well worth it. We'll definitely make more trips out that way!
Restaurant week specials are on point! Another 5 star dinner here. I could eat the oyster whoopee pies every day!
Savannah was amazing- vibrant, energetic, bubbly, knowledgeable, and wore a huge smile all night!

I was torn between three choices of drink and Savannah's knowledge of the menu made it easy to choose one. I decided on the Winter Crush, yum!
My entree was the lobster roll handheld and coleslaw, incredible! Im a lover of seafood and can honestly say this was the BEST lobster I've ever had.
We will definitely be returning customers. Just a fantastic experience!
