Anytime I received an order for Popeyes at other locations it always was quite a wait. I was EXTREMELY impressed with this Popeyes location! They were on it. Order was hot and ready to go with no wait at all. Staff was all very nice, friendly, fast, and efficient. Keep up the great work guys! This was probably one of the best Popeyes I've been to. The mashed potatoes had plenty of gravy and good flavor. The rice and beans were great, really good spice. And the chicken was perfect, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Drive thru took a few extra minutes to get thru but they explained it was too give us fresh beignet. That being said it was also GREAT hearing "you have a blessed day". This may NOT be my last time there. Friendly AND patient staff at the drive thru. The chicken sandwich taste good. Only problem is that I requested light mayo and no pickles and still got both. That being said, nothing fingers can't pick off or wipe off. If you LIKE pickles however, they look big and juicy
Their food is usually really good and fresh. Only been inside once (a few years ago) and at the time, I don't remember anything being noticeably dirty or different from any other fast food joint (sorry I can't report on if it's still that way). Mostly just been through the drive thru.
I increased my star rating from what I normally would do because the last time we went, there seemed to be a shift in attitude. Normally we receive a bit of attitude from the person working drive thru (almost like they're irritated people are showing up). This last time, however, the employee was really friendly, verified our order before having us pull up, and then made sure we had all the sauces and everything we needed before giving us our food
