Breakfast was great. Pancakes are huge. Loved that they added a lot of gravy for the biscuits. I will come back again for breakfast when I'm in the area.
I love family places and historic locations. They have been here since 1964. I have been coming on and off since that time with my parents, and now I am here with my daughter and my grandchildren. Amazing staff, service and food.
Great breakfast, good price, amazing service. Quick stop on the way to Joshua Tree NP. Make sure you have some cash for a tip, as they don’t accept tips on the credit card. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Chicken fried steak was good too. Biscuit was very fresh and soft.

A hole in the wall Mom and Pop's coffee shop up in Yucca Valley the atmosphere is nice the decor screens I've been here a while... it's nice to see the locals walk in and everyone knows their names. The food is amazing and they have a heck of a variety on the menu to choose from. The coffee is excellent and I definitely recommend you try the breakfast side of the menu "omelettes are my favorite" and the price for food is very reasonable. I recommend this place if you're passing through Highway 62 going up to 29 Palms, Johnson Valley or Joshua Tree... This coffee shop gets two thumbs up!..😁👍👍

Went to C& S from breakfast Sunday morning. We got there a little before 9 a.m., and we were seated right away. We were offered drinks upon seating, and our order was taken quickly after that. I had a 2 egg breakfast with hasbrowns, toast, and 2 strips of bacon. It was exactly how I wanted it, the hashbrowns crispy and the eggs over easy. It's definitely a great diner for breakfast.
Great diner! Good service, the two servers were attentive and friendly with their regulars. The pancakes just taste homemade! And can we talk prices! I was so happy to see breakfast under $10! A true diner.
This is the most home atmosphere eatery place I've enjoy going to. The food is delicious, the staff is great. I go there every chance I get.
If you're passing through the area and are just looking for a small town diner with great breakfast, this is your spot. Upon entering, you're immediately greeted with that friendly local vibe and fun fare all over the walls. Once you're seated by the friendly staff, you'll find an enormous menu with all the breakfast combinations you can imagine. I went with the pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. Every bite hit the spot! This was the perfect stop on the way home from our Pioneertown vacation and I urge you to stop in if you want one last desert memory.

Love this place! I haven't tried everything on the menu (and to be honest, I usually get the same three things in rotation when I go: the creamed chipped beef on biscuits and the swiss mushroom burger (with zucchini fries), and the thing you MUST try on Thursdays: the lamb shank dinner 💛💛💛
Big menu with lots to choose from: one day I'll get more adventurous and try something else, like their catfish. I've been told their pancakes are fantastic.

A great experience. Fairly busy but staff handled everything promptly and professionally. They made do with two large groups that showed up with what I assume are their 'Regulars'. No complaints or attitudes. Food was good home cooking and coffee and water refills were handled seamlessly. I am quite pleased with my visit and will surely make this my go to breakfast stop. The rest of the menu looks great also. Thank You!
Food on the menu board are not expensive. These days, It is very difficult to find under $10 menu exception fast food restaurant. However, food qualities are really good. I like their coffee, too. One more thing, all staffs are very kind.

We sat outside in the outdoor patio area and brought our small dog with us which was a plus because it's difficult to find dog friendly places. We ordered The Reuben & The House Sandwich - both were delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and pleasant. Had a wonderful overall experience.
Large portions of tasty home cooked food at a reasonable price with very friendly and average-speed service. Coffee was ok, very standard. Looks/feels like an actually family owned joint. Would return for sure.
