Visited Vic's Daily Cafe on 11/03/23. This was a second time and sure is worth the wait. No kidding the wait can be 20 minutes or so. There are limited seats in the waiting area. It's worth the wait because the food is just delicious. I've seen at least 20 plus people waiting. So that tells you it's delicious. Try the Vaqueros plate!! You won't be disappointed. And I wanted to say thank you Brenda M. for giving us amazing customer service.
I had to install some new equipment at one of our customers sites here in Albuquerque and although a friend recommended one place, the locals at the customer site suggested Vic’s. So I went with the locals. The food was perfect, freshly made, plentiful portions. I was stuffed but was thinking about dessert. My server Brenda brought me a small bowl with a sample of Green Chile Chicken Stew. It was awesome as well. I figured I had better stop there. Dessert options sounded good but they were out of the one I really would have suffered for, banana cream pie. Next trip perhaps.
This is a hidden gem! It's in an office park and I almost drove right by but so glad I went in! Was meeting a friend here for breakfast and it was busy and they were serving customers quickly and efficiently. Our server got our drinks out and took our order. I got the French toast breakfast and it came with 2 pieces of french toast and 4 pieces of thick cut bacon that tasted delicious! My eggs came out just as ordered and our waiter kept our glasses full. We did not feel rushed and I was happy to see so many tables full. Our server also offered to-go drinks as we were paying which was nice as I was going to be driving a while. I took half of my plate in a box and my friend enjoyed her omelet with hash browns and biscuits. She took half hers home too! Nice portions for the price.
