Amazing hot pot! We orderrd lamb and water land hot pots, which are enough for three persons and extremely fresh and tasty. we called before going, but no one answered. Was told by the staff that the phone number needs to be updated, luckily we didn't missed it out .
I went here for a late lunch, around 1245 on a Wednesday. There were plenty of available seats, and the hostess was quick to have me seated. I ordered the lunch special “Popcorn Chicken” and some pork egg rolls. The food came out fast and was pretty good! I really enjoyed the Asian approach they took to the chicken, very flavorful.
I would definitely recommend a visit here. There is also a rear section to the restaurant which has several more tables, a full bar, and even a pool table. Oddly the restaurant was also attached and open from the inside to the liquor store adjacent. Not a bad thing, just funny to mention.
it looks like a hole in a wall next to a liquor store, but this place is a treasure! They explain everything you need and it has a very cozy feel. You can't even see the bar from the front dining room. Basically, your food boils on a burner in front of you, very classic hot pot. There are lots of extras to choose from besides the basic veg and meat (and tofu for you non-meat-eaters), and the starch is either rice or glass noodles. Which means I can bring someone gluten-free here! Everything was very fresh and delicious and I love making my own sauce combo. 2 smalls had us taking home about half of each for two people, so they're not kidding. it's a lot of food even in a small. We'll be back and probably split a large between 3 people. Really delicious eggrolls with great texture, too.
