I'm so confused by the bad reviews on here! The food at this place has always been great for us, and we've visited the restaurant or ordered in from here at least once every few months for the last couple years. The worst I've ever had here was a slightly stale roll that came with my entree. The restaurant itself is fairly casual; it's a shopfront place in a shopping center off a pretty busy road. The upside to this is that it keeps the prices ridiculously low for the area, so you're getting authentic Italian (just talk to any of the waitresses about the owner of the place and his refusal to experiment with the menu) at a fraction of what you'd pay at other places. I don't think anyone complaining about the prices can be familiar with the DC scene. This place is fantastic - and cheap enough to take a chance on if you're still unsure. My personal favorite is the sausage & potato pizza - amazing.
first of all, the background music was truly background music, it was played very quietly, one could easily hold a conversation.
food was excellent,
staff was very efficient, helpful and observant,
I/we will be back many more times
