First time in Nashville area and wanted to get some BBQ and Nashville hot chicken. This place didn't disappoint even though a couple of the cooks were Cowboy fans. Fly Eagles Fly!! Chicken was hot and spicy and moist. Brisket and pulled pork were excellent as well
Great food. Friendly service. Excellent brisket, pulled pork and catfish. Chess cake was also delicious.
This place is set up like a mom and pops restaurant and it's very welcoming and laid back compared to the chain restaurants. Customer service was amazing, I didn't even ask the lady her name, but she was sweet from start to end. You could see the cooks behind the counter preparing your food and I did like that as well. I was surprised to see the cooks help the lady bring our food, that was also nice and I did enjoy seeing the team work within the staff. I was with a party of five and the bill wasn't no more than $80, so that wasn't too bad.
Okay so in my one picture l took, I had: fried okra, fish, cole slaw and what l thought was pancakes lol is cornbread. The cornbread impressed me the most lol, I'm from CA and that was my first time seeing cornbread look like a pancake. The cole slaw was sweet and so delicious, the okra was delicious and baby the fish... Well let me just say I normally put ranch on my fish and eat it, but that fish I tasted first and couldn't put it down. I ate that bad boy with no ranch because it wasn't needed. They seasoned that fish so darn good, I have to give a shout-out to the man that fried my fish because baby he knew what he was doing.
Let me wrap this up. This place needs 10 stars, I would definitely come to this place again and again.
