Came early on a Sunday morning. The place was empty (which is usually not the case). It’s a cute spot, with good food. The food is delicious, portion size is large & there are plenty of options for everyone. Service was prompt. The lines can get long and parking can be challenging.

Seems really busy. Greeter is friendly. My waiter seems "Eeyore" like, not too friendly. Parking is shoddy.. I had to walk about 1/2 a block to the restaurant. The loud train didn't help either, but I know they can't help that. Hopefully the food makes up for it. I was in the area for an appointment and decided to stop for a bite to eat. The food did not disappoint. The hashed potatoes were a bit hit and miss with the seasoning but overall, tasted good. The shrimp and grits with pork sausage was very flavorful, plus, it was filling and the focaccia was soft and perfectly toasted. I was not able to finish, so I took the rest to go. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich with a house salad for my wife. She is raving about the salad. She is not a fan of dressing other than ranch, but she likes it. She loves the sandwich as well. The ambiance was lively with music and lots of people. Somebody at Sun in my Belly is getting it right.

I came for breakfast and enjoyed myself. The weather was perfect so I sat on the covered patio which provided a nice atmosphere. I ordered the avocado toast and shrimp and grits. The toast was just ok but the shrimp and grits were amazing. The grits were incredibly creamy, and the portion sizes were generous. My server David was quick and attentive. I would definitely dine here again. Parking is a bit limited, but there are few spaces behind the restaurant.

I had an wonderful dining experience at Sun in My Belly. I arrived at around 2p.m. and was promptly seated. My server, Alek, was incredibly hospitable, which greatly enhanced the overall dining experience. For my meal, I chose the Kirkwood Breakfast, which included scrambled eggs with boursin cheese, a lavender biscuit, and honey-glazed bacon. The vibes is super cozy and provided the perfect setting for spending a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Menu is interesting and good. Got stuff like curry chicken salad sandwich and beet couscous which were good by the way. Ps. No alcohol on Sunday and the apple turnover has a soft doughnuty exterior, no crisp.

We went at a very busy hour. The staff was quick and courteous. There was slight delay and confusion in the order but they recovered quickly. Loved the venue. Overall a very good experience.

Cute little place. The shrimp and grits were so good. The French toast was good but it had more of a bread taste than your typical French toast. The lavender biscuit was alright but once you add the jelly it’s delicious. I wish they had more breakfast options for the kids menu but the staff was really accommodating.

I did not expect this to be one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had, but it was. The biscuits and gravy were amazing!! It was a beautiful day so we sat outside in the patio and it was perfect! I’m already looking forward to coming here again!

Excellent catering and event services! I’m so glad we chose Sun in My Belly to cater and coordinate our wedding. I wanted our reception to feel more like a dinner party, so of course, the food had to wow our guests. Their team definitely delivered! The food was just delicious. I didn’t even see one of the passed appetizers because they were gobbled up so quickly. Then, when we walked around to our guests’ tables, all I saw were plates wiped clean. During planning, Megan helped us find the perfect menu. She gave us plenty of options and worked with us to customize the courses based on our tastes, and she found ways to give all our guests a fantastic meal without us having to go overboard. From presentation to day-of service, they covered everything with professionalism and care. Our coordinator, Hillary, was a rock star. We had a DIY wedding and she was very understanding of our vibe and patient when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. She checked in frequently and made me feel confident that everything was going to come together perfectly. Throughout the process, Sun in my Belly’s team had excellent communication, and they were professional and reliable. You really felt like they were on your team. We had a few scary gusts of wind during our cocktail hour, and I saw at least five of their staff diving onto tables to rescue and rearrange bottles, signs and décor. I’m so grateful to them for really wanting to make our day great. It was the perfect event!

Very cute, renovated old house. It is a little tight on space and crowded, but that's just because it's so good! The staff is super nice. Food is delicious and unique! Unlike most brunch places, it has flavor profiles that are definitely worth a try.

I got the kirkwood breakfast. The eggs are interesting, not sure what they added in the scramble but it works. (Reread the description, boursin cheese apparently)The biscuit is also interesting, it's less dry than a normal biscuit and it definitely has a home made taste that is unique.

We hired Sun in my Belly to cater our outdoor tent event....our guests remarked about how AMAZING the food was. In their words, it was the "best wedding food" they ever had. My fiancé and I didn't get an opportunity to taste much of the food, but we did get a chance to have leftovers the next morning and the leftovers were ABSOLUTELY delicious. If the leftovers were delicious, I can only imagine how much better they tasted when it was hot and plated. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to the catering chef-- Esther (not me). She was such a pleasure to have around in the kitchen, and absolutely fun-spirited and made the crazy day even better. Thank you!

This place is WONDERFUL! My boyfriend and I went on our visit to Atlanta and after a particularly bad restaurant experience the night before, we really needed a win. This place had everything you could want in a breakfast/brunch spot: artisanal cocktails, specialty coffee, a range of food options, and a cozy welcoming atmosphere suitable for families, couples, group breakfast, or even individuals! I can’t say enough good things about the experience. We tried the French toast, the Kirkwood breakfast, and the side of Brussels sprout slaw and everything was awesome!

Beautiful people and service accompanied with freaking good food. They couldn't find the orange juice to serve until towards the end of our meal which we teased them on. The only complaint is I smelled chocolate coming from their bakery, but couldn't purchase whatever it was they were baking...lol. Great ambience and spot.

The place was hopping! We had a short wait and when seated it was a bit loud for us so the host moved us with no problems. The food was excellent and the coffee great. I especially loved the fried green tomatoes and Lucy salad. Will definitely be back to try other items 😃

Wow what an absolutely fantastic breakfast place! French toast was delicious and the bacon was delicious. Bacon has a rub that though not spicy, is a bit peppery. Great though! Reasonably priced and a very nice atmosphere. Place to relax and eat.
