Great little BBQ place! Had the burnt ends (special) and hot links sausage. Sausage was tasty and just the right heat, will definitely try those again. Burnt ends were good. Four Rivers is still the Gold Standard for Burnt Enda. Wife had salad with chicken, the chicken was moist and smoky, was complemented nicely with their Carolina vinegar-based sauce. Coming back for more.
Went to this place on a whim while visiting the Buckhead area. Told the waitress to bring me her best lunch selection -- surprise me. She brought ribs, brisket, mac-n-cheese and collard greens. All were excellent. The rub on the ribs had just the right hint of sweetness to it. Allman Brothers in the background, too. My compliments.
What is Labor Day without some BBQ? I chose the Greater Good due to the high score and it did not disappoint. The chopped brisket was very moist and flavorful. The baby back ribs, while not fall off the bone tender were good. The piping hot beans and mustard potato salad were great sides.
There are four sauce choices on the table, house, sweet, Carolina and hot. The house and sweet were to sweet for me. The Carolina would make true Carolina BBQ fans complain on its authenticity but it was my favorite- slight vinegar taste but thicker.
My two meant plate plus tea -$19.12
