I had an amazing experience! It was a beautiful day so we got to sit outside in the covered seating area. The waitress was so helpful as far as making good recommendations for food. The Buffalo dip was so delicious as she said it would be. We got it with the salmon which I’ve never had before. The pasta was very flavorful. I’ve never had shrimp and sausage in my grits and it was a perfect combination. Oh and the strawberry lemonade mimosa was so good too! I would highly recommend.
Once I entered the Milk and Honey Restaurant, was warmly greeted by the hostess at the door with a bright smile. Secondly, I was impressed by the atmosphere which was ushered in by soulful sounds that brought back pleasant memories from my younger years. Finally, my waitress Rachel, introduced herself with a smile and cheerful attitude that lasted during the entire time that she served me.M&H is definitely one of my favorite dining spots.
My hubby and I finally checked out Milk and Honey, a spot we'd been hearing a ton about. Gotta say, we were seriously impressed. We rolled in right as they opened up shop on a Monday, hoping for some top-notch service, and man, were we in luck! The place was pretty much empty, so the waitress was on point with her attention and friendliness.
First off, let's talk about the Milk and Honey biscuit – a solid 10/10, no doubt. It's like they've cracked the code for the perfect biscuit, seriously. Moving on, we ordered the hot honey chicken with a side of milk and honey waffle, and a fried salmon filet with a split between red velvet and milk and honey waffles. The waffles were spot on – not too soggy, not too stiff. The hot honey chicken had my husband's taste buds dancing, and he's calling that hot honey sauce the best he's ever had. My fried salmon? Perfectly crispy and just the right amount of seasoning.
We washed it all down with a couple of mimosas – one cranberry and the other pineapple orange. Those babies were bursting with flavor, although I could tell the bubbly used (if it was bubbly) wasn't exactly top-notch. But hey, didn't ruin the vibe.
Long story short, I'm totally giving Milk and Honey a big thumbs up. If you want the primo experience, head there early in the week when it's chill. Trust me, you won't regret it. Solid 10/10 in my books – go check 'em out!
Visited this restaurant while in Atlanta bc the name intrigued me. Glad we went, food was delicious and the atmosphere was ethnic and warming. The lamb chops were exceptional and the grits had a vanilla taste to them. My husband enjoyed the fish and grits entree as well. All in all I’d definitely recommend anyone to try them. Looking forward to visiting again in the future 💯
We had a great brunch today. Everything was perfect and well cooked to the taste. Our server was really nice and made us feel welcomed. Make sure y’all try them lamb chops💯 of course the honey & biscuits were fluffy & moist💯
To start, we were seated right away.l and it wasn't too busy. Service was great, waitress suggestions were really good and detailed. Atmosphere was cool and brunch vibes. Our mimosa pitcher was great! Delicious drinks. Biscuits are definitely a must have but for my partner he thought it was too sweet. For our entrees, he ordered the lamb that was way too coated in glaze but he was made a fresh order before we left which was very good. The fried Brussel sprouts were bland. He enjoyed the spinach a lot. I ordered the grits that were really good but the fried lobster made it much more salty. I was not impressed with the Mac and cheese but i was told its a favorite. It was just covered in pepper. But all in all, the service was great, drinks good, food was ok but I enjoyed myself. Great to go out with your girls
This is probably top 3 of my favorite brunch places in Atlanta… the food is always good I had fried salmon and grits Omg it was amazing… the steak was a bit tough that my friend had but those honest biscuits and potatoes made up for it.. definitely and always will continue to come back !
Great Customer Service, Fair Prices however some of the food was underwhelming. I do not record the Banana Waffle. It was soggy, soft and lacked in flavored. The Chicken wings were very small and were not seasoned at all (tasted battered and fried even hot sauce couldn’t fix it) and they were plated very tacky in appearance. They did bring me one more wing that was normal in size. The macaroni lacked flavor. The mimosa was overpriced for the value of what you got $30/Pitcher. The Lobster and Shrimp spinach dip was pretty good and flavorful. The shrimp and grits with the added piece of catfish was delicious. Highlights here: Customer Service, we were seated quickly and the shrimp and grits with catfish.
Came for brunch on a Saturday. Waited about 40 mins which wasn't bad compared to other brunch spots around Atlanta. The seating is VERY cramped... too many tables in such a small area and no booths at all. The food was really good though. We had fried green tomatoes and Buffalo chicken spinach dip for appetizers... both were great. Had the salmon and grits - huge portion and seasoned well. Also ordered two mimosa pitchers which were really good and worth the price. Service was great, especially with how busy they were. Not sure if the guy walking around was the manager or owner but he definitely made sure everyone was taken care of! Side note: any party of 4 or more automatically gets charged 18% gratuity and it's charged for whole table's bill, regardless if you split checks... that was a little weird to me seeing that it was just my husband and I with another couple.
WOW! Great food, Great service! These people are fantastic! They all wear smiles and let you know that they are glad your there. We ordered the "Nana" French toast, fried green tomatoes, biscuit w/sausage gravy, and chicken sausage. The french toast w/sauce was the best I've ever had. The biscuit and gravy was good and unique. We had the coffee and it was strong and had a unique taste also. EVERYTHING tasted good. I highly recommend this place and I am going back. I can not stress enough about the overall uniqueness of this small Cafe. And people.....don't skip the tipping. Our servers make $2.11 an hour in this country. They rely on our tips. If your eating out, Make sure to let your server know that you appreciate them being there to serve you.
Nice vibe, loved the music that was playing throughout the restaurant. The stuffed salmon alfredo pasta was very delicious. Red velvet waffle was okay, the fried chicken wings was good & the grits were too salty but overall yummy. Staff 10/10 ..definitely will visit again.

The best macaroni & cheese I’ve ever had!! The wait was long but they sat us just when they said they would. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile, laughter, and professionalism. It was a truly enjoyable experience. They eve have their very own spring water. I had grilled chicken, mac, & spinach. It was all delicious. My friends had the shrimp hash, shrimp & grits & the honey biscuits. They said their meals were just okay but the biscuits were delicious!! I would give the service 10/10. Totally would recommend and I will be back!
Brunching here never disappoints!
We have eaten here a few times. The chef special is great - which is the lobster and grits with a corn chowder sauce on top 😋 The chicken and Milk and Honey waffle is also a hit.
Samone gave us wonderful service! We were greeted with warm welcomes, and the atmosphere felt homey. I had the Big Chic, and it was flavorful! We will be back :)
LOVVVVVVVVED this place!! Food was delicious, staff was super pleasant. Service was good!! I recommend and would DEFINITELY visit again!!
I got the Surf & Turf Burger. It has shrimp and bacon on it. My only concern is the bun isn’t thick enough to hold it all together. It gets sloppy after two bits and then it all just falls apart. I would suggest a thicker bun to replace what is being used currently. Other than that, very good place to eat.
