Not sure why this place is listed as closed. Went here about a week ago on a Friday night with friends (unless it recently closed). ***DISCLAIMER: they are currently undergoing a change in ownership, so they temporarily do not serve alcohol.***
However, very quaint and cozy spot with delicious eats, drinks and hookah. Our server, Phylicia, was amazing and extremely patient with our party and suggested some of her menu favs, which were excellent choices. Plenty of flat screens located throughout, a spacious patio area and an option for a private room with flat screen. There is outdoor seating with a cute floral photo op area and fairly clean restroom facilities. Parking is very limited, so use rideshare or carpool, but overall definitely a place to check out.
My friend and I went to brunch on a Saturday. I had Augustine's breakfast platter (it came with the Dusse French toast). The food was good. I think this is really like a "no fuss"/no leftovers kind of brunch. The food came out really fast. The prices are not exorbitant. My friend had the catfish and grits.
We liked the mimosa setup. The full bottom of champagne was a surprise. Also, we got a side of a peach syrup for $1 and that made the mimosa sweet.
This sign is hilarious.
The food is unbelievable and fresh. We visited, but they didn't have air conditioning, diet coke, and alcohol sales. The servers were nice, but the lack of air was the biggest knock. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would come back
