I feel a little bad only giving 4 stars. There was an extraordinarily long wait in the drive-thru and as I was waiting to place my order, I heard a lady say they were short staffed. I know that's a big problem in fast-food restaurants and I believe they were doing their best. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, my second attempt to try one. My first time was a different location and the chicken wasn't fully cooked. Thankfully this location gave me a hot, delicious sandwich which I thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, the French fries were cold. I was not happy about that but it may have had something to do with them being short staffed. I'll come back here in the future, but perhaps next time I'll sample a fry before driving away.
While making a stop after my appointment, an incident occurred at the cashier's counter. They accidentally charged my card for someone else's order and then cashed out the order without receiving payment, requiring assistance from the on-duty supervisor. The supervisor appeared visibly frustrated with the cashier, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. Despite understanding that people make mistakes, I was taken aback by the supervisor's excessive huffing, puffing, and eye-rolling. As a customer, one would expect to be upset, but the supervisor seemed even more agitated. I didn't receive an apology or any form of compensation, which was disappointing. The food itself was alright, but I was let down to discover that the lemonades I ordered were only available chilled instead of frozen, and the strawberry biscuits turned out to be old and burnt.

Popeyes Chicken is a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s dry and hard. However the value menu item Chicken Wrap is everything you could want for under 2 dollars. Big juicy chicken tender, rice and beans in a tortilla. Perfect quick on the go meal.
