My visit was good. Kind of a small space. The prepared food is best in the morning fresh out. They have the basics in they're shelves.

I sent my daughter in the afternoon to pick up Carnitas and chile rellenos and tamales and rice and beans. They had carnitas or very very flavorful. The chili rellenos were out of this world they were so delicious I was totally impressed. They will be forever saving me from traveling to Chicago for chile rellenos. They didn't have any tamales which made me super sad but I knew that we really needed to be there first thing in the morning to get the best selection. We will return to see if we can get them. It has been over 30 years since I've gone to this store and I was not disappointed. The race was decent and really miss not having any beans. The young man serving the food joked with my daughter about not speaking English as she joked about her not speaking Spanish. I told her I was glad she made a friend so now she can go there and get me my stuff I want and not feel bad or embarrassed. I'd like to thank the young man for being so welcoming to my daughter.
