Aug 2023 Update: Always a great experience! The customer service is top tier and the sandwiches just HIT THE SPOT! This time was Turkey, pepper Jack & veggies on grain. SOOO GOOD! Still highly recommend! A perfect hidden-in-plain-sight gem! It’ll feel like you stepped back in time. This is definitely a must visit if you’re in the area. Service is super friendly and helpful… and the food is awesome. I had the roast beef with Swiss on sourdough all the way add horseradish… So so good. Highly recommend!

Amazing looking place, an experience of classic Austin on a quiet street under shady trees. Loved the Queen B veggie & cheese sandwich. Looking forward to going again soon.

nice cozy place with excellent sandwiches full of flavor!! I would suggest you call ahead to see if there is a wait or line or closed. Shop owner is overwhelmed and under staffed. "so many complicated orders"! Those are his words about his menu... I will not be back and did not feel welcomed. I tried supporting this local small business. I don't think it was wanted!
