The staff was completely different. Not happy to hear the previous staff was let go. But at the end of the day, the only thing constant is change...
The food was delicious. The short ribs were awesome. You could cut them with a spoon. The seafood pasta with alfredo was really good. Plenty of shrimp and crab. The calamari was also a good portion and good quality for the low price. We recommend the aoili with it.
Only real negative was the lack of a bartender in the afternoon. However, the place was pretty dead, so I could see where a bartender who relies on tips would not want that shift. The gentleman who made our drinks did what he could, and to be honest, no complaints about his service.
All in all, it's sad to see that the place isn't the same. But treat it like a new experience and give them a shot. At the end of the day, we weren't disappointed. Just keep in mind that they're still trying to find their footing.
Me and my wife ate here tonight and the food was fantastic. My wife got the Pounder which is a 23oz crab cake, it was packed with lump crab meat. I have had a crab pretzel at many different restaurants and this was the best I have had so far. The customer service was great as well, I will definitely be returning as a customer.
Great music. Classy/chill/bar vibe. Great service. Turkey club bacon crispy! Crab/shrimp beignot are delicious! Will definitely return!
