A. Real nice Chinese Shanghai style restaurant. It serves many of the familiar Shanghai style dishes, such as xiaolongbao, etc. But, it also serves many of the western familiar dishes such as Beijing duck and fried rice. Overall, this restaurant serves real authentic tastes and dishes.
For some great Shanghainese food in Bayside, this is the place. I prefer this location to the Flushing location. This staff is very friendly and not rushing you on the way out. Seating is reasonable, but I’d say going with 2-8 ppl max. To try the most dishes, go with 4-8 ppl family style.
The food was great. The soup dumplings currently come complimentary if you spend more than $10, which is a nice plus. The duck bun is great, I’d definitely suggest at least trying one if you never had it before 10 out of 10. The pickled/ cold veggies here are amazing. The turnip pastry and turnip cake were also worth it.
Cash / Venmo only
Hands down the best soup dumplings in the area. The scallion pancakes are also out of this world and every time we must order the cucumber salad. Best bang for your back and always a great service!
