My wife and I stopped in mid-afternoon, too late for lunch, too early for supper. One other couple dining when we walked in. I just want to say that we were absolutely surprised at the quality, portion sizes and flavor. The lady working the counter (owner I guess) started the order taking process the way any great BBQ place should when ordering sliced brisket, by asking "fatty or lean?". We each got a 2 meat plate, ribs/brisket, link/brisket, and it was all great. Smokey, charred with a great bark and the lean meat was juicy and the fatty meat was fantastic. Tender ribs and mildly spicey sausage. Coleslaw had a slight smokey flavor. Super clean place, great service and great BBQ. We've been all over Texas and had some great Q, but this was really good, if not the best in SE Texas.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ. Fried fish was great also. We came in near closing time fully expecting the BBQ to be dry since it's the end of the day-it wasn't... At all. Some of the best that we have had, will definitely be back.
