This place was great! The tuna chili mayo sushi rolls were super tasty and the staff were over the top friendly. Would come here again. Decently priced food as well as Japanese snacks, sweets, cooking ingredients, and tools.
A very cute store located in the glen echo area that has great sushi for a good price ! The food was prepared fast with no issues and the taste was pretty good ! I would definitely come back.
Been going to Kanpai since they opened. Always fresh, reliable quality, friendly owner and staff. I also enjoy the variety of snacks that they sell and the basic Japanese condiments are mostly available when I don't feel like a trip to the Asian grocery store. Reasonable prices. Love the daily lunch boxes, too. Best to call ahead because they get pretty busy, especially on weekdays.
