In town for work training. Got there early, needed breakfast. And darn if I didn't luck up. It was amazing. 2 eggs over easy ( my preference) side of grits, 3 pieces of bacon I couldn't have cooked better myself, 2 pieces of toast and a drink...ALL under $8. Great service. Not busy at 8 am. Lunch is super too. Wow. Beats Wright's in Tuscaloosa and that's saying something.

Sol’s is located one block from the Birmingham Intermodal (train & bus station). The food was delicious. The price is not to bad. I usually post pictures of the food as well but I was hungry and started eating as soon as they brought the food.

Perfect place to pop in for breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff minimum, minimal crowd, and a short wait for your food. Sols has pretty much everything which is a good and sometimes bad thing for an indecisive person like myself (sandwiches, salads, meat and three,etc ). For lunch I went with a BLT on croissant with Tomato Soup.
