5 stars because I have been there twice in the last 2 weeks and service was great. The blond lady who takes the orders is professional, courteous and always has a smile. She seems to have leadership qualities which translates into a better overall experience, hopefully KFC recognizes. Was there yesterday right before they closed and everything was great again. Thanks for the great service.
Food was better in my memory of eating at KFC a few years ago, in Kansas. Ordered a $30 meal, came with Biscuits, 1/2 gallon of brisk raspberry tea, a bucket of chicken (I asked if they could put only Dark meat in the bucket) 2 bowls of Mashed potatoes, a bowl of coleslaw, a thing of gravy, and 4 cookies.
Biscuits tasted like they always do, really dry, it's not the employees fault but what the KFC gets from the truck, so they are probably dry because they are frozen. Tasted like what I expected so no minus stars there.
The half gallon of my choice of drink was surprising, I was not expecting it but it was a good surprise at that, I love Brisk Raspberry Tea, and will probably be back just for one or two of those if I can.
The chicken was good, I did ask for dark meat only, and someone who I believe was the manager (dressed like a manager) said he can try to see what he can do. The man who took my order did amazing and I only had one piece of a Breast, only one piece, which if you go anywhere else (from my experience) they always throw in like three to four pieces of breast. So amazing job on the Bucket of chicken, better than expected.
Next is sadly the Mashed potatoes, now I remember loving the mashed potatoes and how they were really buttery and creamy, the two bowls of Mashed potatoes tasted like and probably were insta mash or something resembling Insta Mashed potatoes. Lacked flavor and salt in general. Still can make better mashed potatoes, with the extra that I had, at home with cheese and butter. Not enough to lose a star but it's on the line.
Ok sometime in the last two or three years they changed the recipe for the delicious coleslaw they used to have, it's either that, or I have made way better coleslaw and am used to it tasting good. The coleslaw was really watered down and only slightly tasted like lettuce, so it along side the mashed potatoes was probably frozen. Honestly mainly because of the coleslaw and a bit of the gravy, I'm going to subtract a star.
Lastly we have the gravy and cookies, the gravy was really salty so it goes well with the non seasoned mashed potatoes, but it was like barely anything besides a little bit of chicken flavor, salt, and liquid. Not surprised with the gravy to be brutally honest. And the cookies were just bad, but hey I wouldn't go to KFC for just the cookies, and it's probably just for the young kids who can't tell what a good cookie tastes like.
Saved the best for last, the service. The man who I presumed to be a manager did amazing ringing my order up, 10/10 experience, the only reason it's high is I spent the last six years in food and retail, and know good service from bad. My only issue is I didn't get napkins or spoons/forks but that's why I always bring my own.
TL;DR (too long, didn't read) Food was good, as I expected, save the mashed potatoes and coleslaw, (it's out of their control) and the service was top notch for a fast food place.
4 out of 5 stars.
Good Job!

I ordered the two piece dark meal. It was hot and fresh! Really, yummy and the cashier, a young man of Asian descent, was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this location.
