Two years ago, new management took over this kosher Chinese restaurant. There have been subtle upgrades to the decor and menu. It's a bit more modern, with only a modest increase in price. Happily, many of the former staff remained, which makes the food consistent, and the service fast. On Sunday evenings it's best to have reservations. A typical entree, which includes soup, rice and dessert, is about $25.
Tonight's dinner was terrific! We had a large family group with 4 generations including cousins met for the first time. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was efficient but not rushed. Great time!
Nice place right off the thoroughfare. The special menu (every dinner is $18.95) was very good and had humongous portions. You get a soup, egg roll and main dish with rice. I had the chow mein, which was very tasty; my wife had the beef and broccoli. There was so much on the plate she took half home. The price also included a fortune cookie, tea, and Chinese fried noodles with duck sauce. All finished off with a choice of about 7 or 8 desserts.
Folks, if you’re hungry and in the mood for a very nice, fresh and yummy meal, I highly recommend this place. You will not be sorry. Oh, and it’s very clean with quick and kind service. Manga baby!
