This was a lucky find while hunting for craft beer and delicious food during an all-day stroll around the Boston area. I wasn't expecting to find such succulent Oysters, leek soup & a lamb burger all in one hit! What a hit it was! Ended up getting a 2nd order of oysters and a couple juice, hazy IPAs. Although we didn't try the pizza, it seemed to be their go-to offering as well. Amazing service and well thought out craft beer offerings had me not wanting to leave. Can't wait to come back as soon as possible!
Nice spot on the other side of town to catch lunch. We came in with a baseball team they were more than accommodating to help us. I appreciated the service for that. The place was big enough for everybody and had a nice atmosphere. They have a ton of beers, but no cocktails. You can get wine and other similar things of that nature. But I had a burger that was excellent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked. Would go back and have lunch.
Really good, wood fired pizza. Unique recipes, with unique ingredients. This is not a standard, chain type pizza place with standard pepperoni, Hawaiian, meat lovers pizzas. If you're not a little adventurous in your dining experience, you may want to pick somewhere else.
We ordered two pizzas, half and half on each. The chicken pizza was good, but the pickled collard greens were a little much - better in smaller quantities, so I found myself picking off about half of what was on the pizza. The other was half salami, half pepperoni. The salami came with hot honey. Again, I'd have preferred a bit less honey, but overall it was really tasty. And the pepperoni was excellent.
Also, I loved the root beer!
