Literally one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in ages. Beautiful space, amazing food (I highly recommend the grilled octopus appetizer) and friendly, efficient service. Oh - also interesting cocktails and a nice wine list with many good options depending on your mood. They perfectly executed the special requests I added to my reservation and recalled them as soon as we checked in. Thank you, Cinquecento, for making our Christmas Eve a very special one!

My husband and I were spending a couple of days in Boston for our three-year anniversary. A friend of mine who lives in Boston said Cinquecento was his favorite place in the city, so we booked for our anniversary dinner yesterday. It was one of the best meals of our lives. They greeted us with a "happy anniversary" right away and gave us a card signed by the staff. We ordered the mussels, squid ink pasta with clams, spaghetti with tarragon and crab and Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing. The complimentary champagne and intermezzo courses were such a special and amazing touch. Emily, our server, was excellent, attentive and gave great suggestions - especially for wine. Thanks so much for a great evening.

Prix-fixe menu was so good! Fritter was like a little heavenly sweet pillow, coffee was strong and flavorful, pesto added a nice flavor kick, fennel sausage was great, and mixed drinks were top notch. The only things that I would've added were jams for the fritter/Tuscan bread. Also, randomly, my coffee mug and cocktail glass had cracks/chips, but our server quickly replaced them (refilled!). Can't wait to return!
