As a loyal patron of Dbar, I regret waiting this long to visit Boston Chops. We went last night, and absolutely everything about our experience there was perfect! The seafood in the plateau was fresh and delicious (awesome ceviche!) and the bone marrow was the best I've ever had. The 30 oz bone in wagyu was prepared perfectly - the flavor, everything was great. The spicy broccoli and the mashed potatoes were delightful sides. We paired it with a vintage Louis Roederer and it was superb! You can't go wrong with the sticky toffee pudding either. Our waitress (I believe it was Melanie but I'm not totally sure) was fantastic - very knowledgeable, excellent suggestions and she and all of the other wait staff were so polite! Chris Coombs you have outdone yourself and we can't wait to come back!!
It’s expensive BUT it’s because the food is so damn good! Seriously the best steak house in town! We got a 30oz prime to share and it was the tastiest juiciest steak I’ve had in a while! We got ceviche had snapper for fresh catch comes with taro chips to die for!! Calamari was good and these mashed/baked potatoes with this cheesy gravy it was so amazing!!
Excellent cocktails. We went for brunch and sat inside just near the opening to the patio. Attentive but not overbearing service. I had the Huevos Rancheros which were good but I was coveting my friend's Avocado Toast with bacon, arugula and tomato. Try the #Smashed cocktail if you like bourbon. My friends also gave high marks to the spicy jalapeno tequila cocktail that had a large square of frozen watermelon as an ice cube. Creative menu selections overall and would definitely go back for dinner.
