Only a quick little meal of potatas bravas, tortilla (Spanish version) and shishito peppers but everything was excellent and made even more tasty by the aiolis, romesco or other dressings that they came with. Another stand-out was the ‘mocktail’ which was as sophisticated flavour-wise as an alcoholic one. I appreciated the refreshing white Spanish wine recommended by staff. Note that they have a strict policy of not seating you outside after 8:30pm. Inside was cozy and charming -a converted Victorian? With a big bay window, old wood floors, seating at the bar area.
The food was to die for, the bartender was super knowledgable and friendly—gave us great recommendations. Cozy atmosphere with darker lighting. Love the live music. 10/10 would recommend
Tres Gatos is always good, but this meal was extraordinary--one of the best of the entire summer. The heirloom tomato dish was so good that we ordered a second. And don't get me started on the bone marrow. Mmmmmm.
