Our first visit. It’s a great sized room with super acoustics for a show. Boston has been in need of this kind of venue. Staff was super gracious and friendly. The wines were niche and unfamiliar but our waitress did a great job helping us choose one to our taste. The food was surprisingly outstanding for a music venue. My roast local cod was the best I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. Our table also shared risotto balls and French fries (delish) and 2 of our party had the duck tacos which they loved (but aren’t enough for hearty appetites). There’s a great system where you put a card in your table bottle cork for service - which was friendly and attentive. Our show (Mary Gauthier) was outstanding. We will be back!

What a nice room, perfect sound and good sight lines. Food was very good; we had duck tacos, grilled salmon and pizza, was all superb. What a delight to have singer Kat Edmonson introduced by legendary Boston jazz impresario Fred Taylor.

Being an international visitor, I travelled to the US specifically for a handful of shows. This venue in particular stood out for its unique style, professional and well organized staff, fabulous service and excellent variety and quality of food and beverages. I would definitely recommend this venue and should I return to Boston in the future, I will definitely be coming back.

The people were great and so was the food. Courtney, the marketing director, knocked it out of the park with her enthusiastic tour and knowledgeable explanation of everything. Our server Heidi could very well be the best professional and entertaining server I have ever experienced.....and I both work in the business as well as enjoy dining out as my favorite hobby. It is such a fun place. I know I'll be back and hope they open a property in Denver! Cheers......

We welcomed the new guys from City Winery into the neighborhood right from the start! Each year we hold our Staff Holiday Party at a different venue, trying different foods and libations. We realized the space here wasn't fully completed yet and didnt know what to expect but we decided to go forward with it anyways. We were given one of the side function rooms overlooking the main level winemaking room. We could not have been more happy. Our room was very warm and the food, wine and beverages were fantastic. The friendly staff was even better. We had a great time exchanging gifts, enjoying a rare night off and celebrating together. We cannot Thank the Management and Staff at City Winery enough for making our party a Huge success! "Cheers" from all the Management and staff at West End Johnnie's...John Caron Owner

The venue is nice but there are a lot of seats packed in there. The seating is alphabetized. If you are a party of two and you pick seats A and D at a table you will be sitting across from each other as if out to dinner. If you pick seats A and B then you are sitting directly next to each other. You will have to turn your seats towards the stage or else you will leave with a crick in your neck. We ordered the hummus which was tasty. They had mocktails on the menu but when I attempted to order one they said they didn't have any of them available🙄. It got a bit hot inside with the amount of people in attendance. The event was sold out. They did put on the air conditioning.

My sister had tickets to see Jon B. (90's R&B singer). She didn't have anyone to go with so she asked me. Of course I said yes!! Jon B. is an amazing singer, songwriter, and musician. I've been a fan since he hit the scene in 1995. My forever white chocolate boo 😍😍 ❤️❤️ Although I've passed this place many times en route to work, this was my first time at a City Winery venue. When you enter its spacious, a very nice ambiance, clean with friendly, professional staff. We talking grown folk level 💅🏿 The seating area for the show is a bit tight tho. You have share a table with others. You can order food + drinks to have served to your table. They accept cards for payment. The show was really good! Jon held it down 🔥🔥🔥 Had me feeling like a teenager all over again 💃🏿 I would definitely attend another show here if a fave artist is coming to town. It's accessible via Haymarket or North Station stops on the Orange line.

City Winery in Boston is a BEAUTIFUL place! Still looks brand new inside. Basic but pricey food in music venue. Happened to catch the Elvis show they had playing. Sound quality in the room was fantastic. Kudos to the sound guy and the room. Elvis show was a little bit of funny, a little bit of emotion, and a lot of rock n roll. Talk about an act that is a perfect, perfect fit for the City Winery main stage. Would easily return and see this again here. Few minutes away, walking distance, parking garage which is nice. Definitely worth checking City Winery out.

My husband absolutely loves the musicianship of Kamasi Washington and when he was scheduled to perform at City Winery in Boston, it was worth the drive from Connecticut on a weeknight. This experience at this venue was lovely. We were maybe 4 rows from the stage, beautiful decor and lighting, felt like an intimate experience, the sound system was perfect, dinner was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. Kamasi and his band were phenomenal!! We felt so connected as an audience to him and his talent. Soul-stirring jazz in a venue worthy of his gift. We’ll be back.

REVERNED HORTON HEAT 🔥 🔥 🔥 Venue, tables and chairs, great view from all seating. Great wait staff! Beers were cold! Delta Bombers opened for Reverend Horton Heat! Delta Bombers had a great set, never seen them before and would recommend. RHH never disappoints, on fire. If you've never experienced RHH, then make an effort and do it.

We love City Winery, Boston! Richard (The GM) is fantastic, and he seems to genuinely care about the people who support live performance! I highly recommend getting the hangar steak with the fingerling potatoes. I tend to eat the whole plate myself, (despite us ordering with the intention to share), and if it looks like she's going to try to snatch any from the plate, I politely excuse myself from the table to use the restroom, hiding the plate under my coat, and I finish the rest of the meal in the stall.

It was AMAZING to see "Damian Escobar" last night here in Boston! He is such a gifted Violinists! It was my first time at the Winery hanging with two of my sisters, the food was so delicious served with different wines of your choice! I would DEFINITELY recommend anyone in Massachusetts to check them out! The Winery gets an extra 5 Stars from me! They served you on time with fresh hot food, made sure you were comfortable and if you were interested in any other item on the menu! The sliders were awesome!

Overall it was a great experience. We ate dinner in the main area before heading into a show. Food was excellent, wine was fabulous. The main stage area was amazing. I sat up front and the show sounded great. Servers were excellent and friendly. I'll definitely return as I love live music.

Amazing venue where people can pay reasonable prices to see musical acts and dine if they desire. City Winery is also a restaurant and bar with great food which patrons can enjoy without a concert. I had a lobster omelette and French toast. Both were great and so was the service.

City Winery is my go-to concert venue in Boston. Great artists in an intimate venue! I enjoy starting the evening with dinner at my table and then settling in for a wonderful concert...up close and in person.

The City Winery is a must go to! Ivan is the man and this place is awesome! We had our dates mixed up for a wine tasting (only on the weekends) but Ivan made sure we didn’t leave without a great time! He went above and beyond giving us an unmatched wine tasting experience I will remember for the rest of my life. For a wine novice, it was eye opening.

Stopped in the winery on a Saturday afternoon for a wine tasting and tour. Had the absolute best experience with Vicki as our host. Tasted 4 wines and had a delicious cheese tray. The ambience was great and learned so much about wine making. Cannot wait to go back!!!!
