Amazing food and service. There are stations for soup, cheese, fruits, dinner rolls, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. Hot tea and coffee are complimentary with the meal. You do to have a concert ticket first to get admittance into Symphony Hall. So buy your ticket and then make reservations for the symphony Café for the day of the concert. Patrons have up to 2.5 hours to dine before the evening concert starts. $60 for the dinner buffet ($48 plus tax and mandatory gratuity).
There is a lunch buffet for the Friday afternoon concerts and up to 2 hours are allotted for dining at that time.
My wife & I, hospitality pros, especially enjoyed dinner a few weeks back before / during the Pops & Queen Latifah. We ordinarily would have sought out a unique restaurant in the area for a before concert experience.
We thought, why not relax & give it a try ?
I'm pleased to share that the experience was terrific. We both enjoyed a terrific roasted beet & goat cheese salad that was as visually intriguing as it was delicious. Dinner was truley special. A grilled Halibut with a roasted red pepper coulie that had great balance, served over a hearty ancient grain pilaf and the dessert was spot on as well. Wine service was excellent and overall, this was a most relaxing way to spend our evening & we would repeat the experience without hesitation.
