A decent American restaurant inside Hotel Indigo.
Came here for dinner on an off-game day and found the place completely empty. Unlike other sports bars and pubs in the area, the place was quite small and the screens weren’t that big, but I liked its clean and modern aesthetics, typical of hotel restaurants.
Based on my server’s recommendation, I started off with some honey mustard chicken tenders. Though the portion size was a bit small, the tenders didn't disappoint in taste: juicy on the inside and perfectly crispy outside. On the other hand, the Kale Caesar was underwhelming. It was drenched in sauce and perhaps too generously sprinkled with parmesan.
For the main dish, I opted for the Dry Rub Atlantic Salmon. Its description was slightly misleading, as I didn’t find any dry rub seasoning. Yet, the salmon itself was soft and tender, so it felt more like a well-cooked salmon strip from Whole Foods. The sides, however, were mediocre. While the sauteed spinach bordered on being over-salted, the roasted red potatoes lacked crispiness. Service was also a touch below par. Our server, though efficient, seemed more engrossed in her phone than in serving.
Overall, Blake’s Kitchen encapsulates the essence of a 4-star hotel dining experience: reasonably good food in a subdued setting.
Perfect place to go to when visiting TD Garden. Went there one hour before Doja Cat concert and figured it was going to be busy, so made reservations through Google. Upon arrival there was no host stand and we learned that you seat yourself, so there is almost no point to make a reservation. There was zero wait for us to sit, I think only two or three other parties were there when we arrived. Place is nicely decorated for Christmas right now. Almost immediately after sitting we were greeted and had our drink and food orders taken very fast. Food came out quickly and tasted phenomenal. Got a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich (chicken sandwich is pictured). Good prices for good food, you do not find that at a lot of places around the city. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Blake.
Convenient breakfast place if you're staying at the Indigo Hotel. There was only one other party there on a Wednesday morning. It was very clean and had a nice window for natural light, though that street is pretty dingy. There's a dilapidated bar across the street.
I got eggs florentine. Aside from one yolk being cooked like a hard boiled yolk instead of poached, it was excellent.
