My wife has bought cheese from Culture before and I've never had an opportunity to go inside until tonight on a last minute cheese run for dinner. We didn't spend too much time in the store because it was close to closing but this place is awesome and I can't wait to stop back in! We really enjoyed our cheese and baguette. So happy to have this shop in downtown.
The folks working here know their stuff and have always been friendly and easy to talk to.
So far, I've tried a few crepes which were a good size for brunch or in between meal. The hot pepper jam + brie tasted great!
Felt adventurous and bought 3 cheeses I've never tried (though they offer samples), two craft beers, and some sliced meat for $20. Was enough for 2.5 charcuterie boards.
Every time I come to this store, I am blown away. Fantastic selection of cheese, and the knowledge to back it up. There is always something interesting and new to try, which I love since this part of Michigan typically doesn’t get a large selection of cheese. As someone who goes to a ton of different craft breweries, I’m also very impressed by the selection of beer in the store. It’s almost all of our favorites!
