Beautiful Indian casino, so exciting! The facility is really big with a Lake Superior gaming room, Lake Huron gaming room and a small glass gaming room next to the deli. I played the 25¢ slot machines, and hit for over $800! First time ever winning at a casino. Conveniently attached to the hotel. They have a gift shop, deli, restaurants, bars, conference rooms, entertainment room for concerts, and a bingo room, plus I'm sure more. One thing I wish they had was a kids room with daycare services, like Soaring Eagle has in Mt. Pleasant. Overall, recommend!
I called to reserve a room for the weekend and I needed to talk to Northern Rewards to get some clarification and help on my rewards that I didn't know I had! I spoke to Will and he was WONDERFUL! I have been a loyal patron of all kewadin casinos and rarely find a reason to complain. However when arriving Saturday evening exhausted and ready to check into our room we were instantly made to feel unwelcomed by Rebecca at front desk. She seemed annoyed and extremely unfriendly from the moment we approached desk. Then low and behold we had an issue with our credit card needed for incidentals. She then proceeded to talk down to us after offering no options to help further escalating our embarrassment. I felt disrespected and did not feel someone with no compassion or abilities to help should hold a customer service position. Thank goodness for the young lady working executive services who immediately took actions to actually resolve the issue and without causing additional complications for us. Rebecca I sincerely hope you never find yourself 4 hours from home relying on a person of your coliaber to help. You were quite proud of yourself to represent kewadin as a place that turns away loyal patrons with reservations. AL while letting it be known you would do nothing to resolve matter nor believing its your job too.
I will not hold kewadin responsible for one rude, disrespectful, and uncaring employee however I will expect the guest from now on not to be humiliated or treated as less than. Again a big thank you to executive services for clearing matter up in literally 2 minutes.
