I love this place. The Sunday brunches are the best!!!
Excellent food!. Madison's has become the go-to place for my mother and me for our holiday dinners (Mother's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). They usually have a special holiday menu -- a la carte, not prix-fixe -- with, say, six or eight choices of entree, plus appetizers (including soups -- the cream of mushroom puree last time was delicious). There's also a separate dessert menu; coffees and cappuccino beverages are available. An unadvertised house salad comes with the entree. The portions are not overly large, but they are satisfying, and the food is excellent.
My only reservation concerns the noise level when the place is busy. It's not that the decibel level per se is obtrusively high, but that the ambience impedes conversation, or relaxation. (It helps if you can be seated in the "separate" room further back, rather than in the front seating area.)
Here for the brunch, menu is good, service is good... The cook could use a lesson or two... But food is tasty.I don't know about the dinner menu...

We have visited this location for about 15 years now.
The attention they give to the customers is first class.
We love the Madison Burger!, The Chop Chop Salad, Penne a la vodka with Chicken and all their drinks!
Great food. The steak was outstanding. The service was excellent. Nice place with a great wine selection.
I've been to Madison's many, many times. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal. In fact, I'm always completely satisfied with my order. Even the included salads that come before your entree are great. There's something to be said about a restaurant that serves up dependable meals every time you go there. And they're not just 'ok'. They're exceptional. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating as well. In an area where great restaurants are few and far between, Madison's is a stand out. I'll continue to frequent this restaurant as long as it's around and I hope that's a very long time.
I have been going to Madison’s for years. It is a solid restaurant, with great food and decent drinks. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Madison’s is the CHEERS bar in Riverdale. Love to drop in any day of the week… especially when Paco is there. Love him!!
I've never had a meal here that I didn't love. Not like, but love. My friends and I go at least once a week.
I am not a burger person but last week I took a leap and had one. I was blown away. It's made with 3 different types of meat, it's juicy, not fatty with so much flavor.
The service is superior. If you want to be doted on, that is not a problem for any of the servers. If you want to be left alone, that is also not a problem. I'm the type of person who wants to be left alone. With that said, there is never a time when I need a server and they are not right there. Jonathan is the Saturday bartender. He makes a damn good dirty martini. I'm meeting friends there again tomorrow night. Watch for the updated
Madison's is our neighborhood place. I have been going there for many years. Dining in and taking out on those days I don't feel like cooking. The atmosphere is very nice it's very cozy. I know I probably have eaten most everything on the menu because I've been there so many times. I do recommend the Penne alla Vodka it's really delicious. The quesadillas are really delicious too. If you like salmon I think you will really like it here. I do recommend if you do not live in Riverdale to come and visit Madison's. I know you will not be disappointed.
Sat at the bar and had a fantastic pasta dish. I've heard their burgers are outstanding but I just wasn't feeling a burger that night. Real nice place. Cozy. Everyone was great. Hostess, bartender were very friendly. Definitely recommend this place and I hope to get back there again.
Decided to check it out since we had an event later that evening. We went in and realized that we may have needed reservations, but were accommodated. A great seat nestled in the corner. The decor was very romantic with dimmed lights on a brick wall. I ordered a special of braised beef in ravioli. It was delicious. Wine list is plentiful for every palate. Crab cake appet was also a great choice. I will definitely dine here again..
My family, & I have gone there many different times. Very good food, & very kind employee's who work there. Definitely will go again.
Nice cozy restaurant by my job. The crab cakes appetizer with the corn salsa was absolutely delicious. I had the chop chop salad which would have been better if it didn't have so much salad dressing mixed in. Next time I'll ask for dressing on the side.
Good (not amazing) food and a cozy place. Lots of regulars usually drinking at the bar. One of the few good places to eat in Riverdale. If you enjoy salad, get the chop chop. Yes it's $16 (which is why I knocked down 1 star) but the flavors are wonderful. Check it out if you're in the area
Great food that served hot and fast. You never disappointed with their service. The servers were friendly, helpful and polite. I'd definitely recommend to everyone who loves Italian food.
Very tasty range of continental dishes. You can get a meal-style salad called a chop chop salad with greens, chicken, bacon, bleu cheese and more with a lovely home dressing. Their salmon is delicious. They usually offer a couple of Italian dishes. Their specials are often interesting. Most recently I tried their osso bucco, which I will definitely have again! Prices aren't cheap but portions are generous. Full bar as well. Can't speak to the desserts as I never save room for it, LOL.
Awesome local spot ! Great burger and lunch menu !
