I love this place. The Sunday brunches are the best!!!
Excellent food!. Madison's has become the go-to place for my mother and me for our holiday dinners (Mother's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.). They usually have a special holiday menu -- a la carte, not prix-fixe -- with, say, six or eight choices of entree, plus appetizers (including soups -- the cream of mushroom puree last time was delicious). There's also a separate dessert menu; coffees and cappuccino beverages are available. An unadvertised house salad comes with the entree. The portions are not overly large, but they are satisfying, and the food is excellent.
My only reservation concerns the noise level when the place is busy. It's not that the decibel level per se is obtrusively high, but that the ambience impedes conversation, or relaxation. (It helps if you can be seated in the "separate" room further back, rather than in the front seating area.)
Here for the brunch, menu is good, service is good... The cook could use a lesson or two... But food is tasty.I don't know about the dinner menu...
