Today was my first visit and I wasn’t disappointed. My aunt had the fried calamari. She says it was just ok. However the fried chicken chunks with mojito sauce and rice and beans were great! The margaritas were only $5 dollars during happy hour. Samantha provided GREAT customer service. She was very attentive. I will definitely return with more friends!
UPDATE!
I returned for Taco Tuesday! Same great vibe. I opted for a steak quesadilla instead of tacos. The quesadilla was WAY too oily. I was served my Maxine this time. She was an absolute delight. She was also very attentive. Of course I’ll be back to try the tacos next time.
Place was okay. It took at least 20 minutes for us to be serviced but once we were, the girls took care of us. The music was good. The drinks could have been stronger. To sum it up, I would go again.
Starts with the bartenders Tutti, and Samantha who happened to be working. They were attentive, courteous, and provided good suggestions for food/ drinks. The restaurant has an authentic NY Rican/Dominican vibe. You may sit at the bar for drinks/ food or choose to sit in the dining room, not big. They play music and at times there's a DJ.The menu is easy to read and very simple for the choices/ options they offered. Ordered chicken wings to start dry, extra crispy with the sauce on the side. For the main course I had the fried pork chops with the bone which were fresh, juicy delicious, sweet plantains, and a fresh green salad. Everything was on point. I will return even if finding parking is a bit hard. It's located in a residential area. Rating it 4.4.
