I stumbled upon this place by accident due to some bogus directions I got for some other restaurant that as it turns out, didn't even exist. Anyway, it was to my advantage as the grilled cheese and tomato bisque combo that I ordered was amazing! In addition to the soup, which definitely tasted homemade and the sandwich made with grueyere cheese, there was a side of in house pickled veg, a tasty side salad and in house made chips. I didn't leave a single crumb behind.
In talking with the friendly servers, I found out that everything they serve is farm to table, oh, and the best part is, they were just awarded a Michelin Star.
I wish I had been in the mood for a beer as they have not only a great assortment of local taps, but a huge selection of bottled beers as well. I just had a cup of coffee, which was excellent.
I'm told they get packed at dinner time, so reservations are highly recommended, but it's a perfect spot for a nice quiet late breakfast or lunch. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!
Decent evening menu with sweet staff. The staff was however to varying in knowledge of their food and wine. Decent value for money, but was not blown away. I am not sure if this is Michelin star worthy. Why is wine not served on wine glasses, please turn down for Williamsburg hipster factor in that regard...
Amazing tasting menu experience, staff is great. Food is mostly fantastic, entrees were a little lackluster but interesting and unique nonetheless and well worth the price. Appetizers and desserts were the best part!
