An oasis for food enthusiasts! This spot in Brooklyn offers an exceptional shopping experience. Fresh produce, an extensive array of organic fruits, and a mushroom collection that astounds. Their kitchen and bakery serve up delightful quick bites and pastries, including onion bread and bagels. The cheese selection is a cheese lover's dream with varieties from around the globe. The meat and fish departments excel, offering quality cuts and the freshest seafood. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee from their roastery invites you in, complemented by an impressive selection of teas. And don't miss the chance to unwind at their tables, savoring the ocean air and the stunning view of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. This place is not just for shopping; it's a sanctuary to relish moments of tranquility in the midst of a bustling day.
This place is kind of amazing. Not only do they have some of the best deals on food in New York City – especially considering the price of eggs up in Harlem ($9).
The best kept secret about this: they have a full solid bar and sandwich/sushi spot in the back of the store.
Grab a sandwich and a drink and you can sit on their back patio with a gorgeous view of the water and you get a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.
Huge selection of products, good sales, the store is huge and neat. I’m a couple of blocks away on Van Brunt so it’s great that I can walk there. The only thing I will suggest is a friendlier employee be placed at self checkout, there is one Hispanic women ( usually there afternoon, about in her 50’s) in particular who always seems like she’s in a bad mood! I am a big fan of good service, say hello & thank you, fake the smile if you must! ( I work for a well known bank at the client experience dept) customer service is key to any business! Overall I still recommend this supermarket.
