I enjoyed my dining experience here --- once for a random snack and once for brunch. The veggie burger is delicious. I enjoy the mushroom-based burger; I added the maple cheddar but unnecessary. I also need to highlight the delicious fries that comes as an extra side for the burger --- crispy, well-seasoned. The restaurant offers great selections of craft beer (reasonably priced too, $6 for 60-minute Dog Fish).
I just ate the best veggie burger I've had in over a decade here this afternoon. The texture was perfect-dense and filling without being mushy, crispy on the outside without being dry. We also tried the grilled kale and romaine salad with black lentils and the fried pickles. The food is absolutely spectacular, and the prices and the atmosphere are casual. I'm kind of blown away-it's an unusual combination to get food this good without that fancy, white table cloth vibe. We've definitely never been to a beer garden-type venue with a completely vegetarian menu. Most selections seem like they can be ordered vegan. I loved how satisfying this meal was with fresh, homemade foods-the grilled salad is a huge plate of greens, not too salty, very very flavorful. We ate in the backyard patio which was spacious and quiet. The service is awesome too. We were too full to try any desserts but they looked tempting.
This is seriously some of the best vegetarian food I've had. The veggie burger was amazing, the pickles, obviously, are amazing, and they serve a great selection of beer. The only downside is the size of the place, which can make it feel kind of cramped. But besides that I would recommend this to anyone, vegetarian or not.
