A beautiful dinning experience, well priced with massive portions great for sharing. It was my first time having Georgian food and it was delicious. The pork sausage was my favorite with the plum sauce as well as the tomato sauce. Everything was different and extremely savory. Our group had lamb soup, borscht, garlic chicken, fried and steamed soup dumpling, potatoes with mushroom, the cheese bread with extra cheese, and some complimentary sodas pear and green herbal and bread. I really enjoyed their bread. The borscht is heavy on the dill which I enjoy but a fair warning to those that don’t and the garlic chicken is on the saltier side. The lamb soup is so clean tasting and delicious as well as the fillings in the dumplings. The green soda taste like absinthe or an herbal liquor without the alcohol it was a good different. The server was quick and made excellent suggestions. The establishment is elegantly decorated, quaint and clean. If I am ever around this area of Brooklyn I will definitely be revisiting and I highly recommend this place to anyone curious.
We came to this wonderful place on the friend's recommendation. Here we found a completely authentic Georgian food, warm hospitality along with other patrons , many speaking Georgian language - good sign of a really authentic place. Most astonishing was Georgian salad with nutty toppings, we surely be back just for that experience
The food was absolutely delicious, and I must say, Georgian cuisine is truly the best in the world. It was the perfect place to explore the rich flavors and unique dishes of Georgian cuisine. I highly recommend trying their khachapuri, khinkali and lamb kebab - they were all exceptional! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be visiting again to indulge in more of their mouthwatering dishes. If you're looking for an authentic and delightful Georgian culinary journey, Mtskheta Cafe is the place to be!
