WOW WOW WOW
As an Israeli I didn't think anyone can surprise me with my home food but let me tell you something... that shef is brilliant.. the food was AMAZING! Looks and flavor.
The food was flavorful and felt like home with a touch of extra love and style.
Do yourself a favor and book a table..and don't eat so you will have a lot of room for happiness...
Unique and inventive tho limited choice menu. But not for those faint of palate!
I loved the food, asthetic plating, imaginative recipes.
But be careful [and clear with your waiter] if you're sensitive to hot spices. 🔥 example: deconstructed falafel was topped with shaved jalapeño ...and cilantro. Again, ask waiter to have chef hold those back. My wife was miserable and ate almost nothing.
Also, on the minus side, there's a marked absence of grains.
Highlights for me:
**Gin cocktail 🍸 [called the "Abba Eban"😉] featuring , yes you guessed it: ♥️ jalapeños and cilantro, passionfruit purée, simple syrup and lime. Yum.
** Coconut rose water custard with light berries sauce topped with pistachio crumble. Simply one of the five best desserts of my life [swoon].
You won't find tea, coffee, nor espresso.
Portions are adequate. Menu includes NO SOUPS [😵💫], eight appetizers, five entrees, two desserts. Period.
In short: great restaurant for adventurous palates!
The atmosphere is hip and the ambience is well managed.
The kitchen is very quick to deliver its delicious cuisine.
The wait staff was very on target and tactful, not pushy or awkward like some places.
The deserts truly impressed with unique flavors and artistic presentation.
