I know these boys from childhood, I visit them often and their food is amazing. As for the Diner, I witnessed a customer telling Johnny, one of the brothers, how he recently moved into the neighborhood and came back a second time to eat because he felt a certain positive energy in the place the first time he ate there. I would tend to agree. You're very lucky if you have a cool place like this near you. Wish I had a similar place near me in Montreal.
Skip the indoors (if you can) and opt for outdoors. It's mainly decorated in everything to pay homage to Led Zeppelin, but that's ok because they have an outdoors that accompanies solid diner fare. Their french toast was solid and their bacon proper. Options are varied and they have an extensive lunch/dinner menu as well. Bring cash and pay up front.
This is my secret breakfast spot. I haven't found a better quality, really well priced diner anywhere else in the city. The staff pretends to be gruff but are very helpful & the hidden back patio is perfect for the summer. Their blueberry muffin reminds me of making breakfast with the family as a kid.
