This mostly casual, yet slightly upscale, "Pizzeria & Osteria" is located right in the heart of Williamsburg.
With friendly service, great drinks, uncomplicated food, and plenty of originality, Dieci seeks to serve up some of the best traditional Italian food Brooklyn has to offer.
Definitely try the Grilled Seafood, the Caponata, and Zucchini Fritti for starters!
Their Branzino entree dish is superb and perfectly cooked/crispy, and laid over a bed of lightly creamy pesto risotto.
To finish, you must try their Tiramasu and giant chocolate cream puff...simply amazing!
Definitely a welcoming, vibrant, neighborhood gem that will hopefully continue to shine forever. I hope to return soon with more friends and family!
The food, wine and service at Diece is intended to reflect the Campania region of Italy, particularly the Vallo di Diano's traditions and friendly hospitality. Its artisan Neapolitan pizza is cooked in a wood burning oven and features plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil. Would certainly return.
The ingredients and the quality oven make the pizza here. The food was delicious and presented well. THe price was significantly less than one would expect for such an attractive restaurant.
I recommend you try this pizza if you're anywhere near East Williamsburg.
