The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! We had to eat dinner at the bar because the place was booked but the tender knew as much about the menu as a waiter would. The food was also amazing with perfect portions. I highly recommend Toutant.
My husband and I went for his birthday yesterday. There were two other people there for their birthdays as well!
Everything was amazing. We had the gumbo, biscuits, and a side a bacon for an appetizer. All were delicious, but the gumbo was something we will never forget. Each bite made us smile.
For dinner, we shared the rib eye steak and the shrimp po boy sandwich. Man, that steak was grilled to perfection! The shrimp on the sandwich was light, flavorful, and plentiful!
For dessert, which was free because of my husband's birthday(!), we had the bread pudding with a scoop of brown butter ice cream. Sinfully delicious.
The service was stellar. Every staff member was smiling, helpful, and extremely friendly. Thanks, Toutant, for making our night so great! We will most definitely be back!

What a unique, yet cozy and relaxing atmosphere! Excellent service. Could not have been better. The food was amazing. We had an heirloom tomato appetizer and I got the fried chicken. Best fried chicken I've ever had. For dessert...a warm fudgey brownie with salted chocolate ganache and toasted marshmallow mousse! To die for. We very much enjoyed our meal and will certainly be returning!
