I plopped down to study for hours with a robust supply of WiFi and electricity in various areas of the cafe. Unlike many other coffee shops it was quite temperate, not too cold and not too hot. Additionally, I didn't order anything until lunch and was NOT disappointed with the BLT and a side order of sweet potato fries. Though the food options are plentiful, the menu arrangement is very easy to follow and not overwhelming. If I were able to give a more realistic gradient to my review I would say 9/10 would do again. The one point deduction would be for the average price being around 10$ for a lunch, albeit, this is to be expected at a third wave coffee shop.
Grateful Grind has incredible coffee. It has a nice relaxing, unique atmosphere. The staff are courteous and very knowledgeable. A place like this is far superior than corporate chains like Tim Horton's and Starbucks. You'll be glad you stopped in
This place is brand new and it's already got repeat customers, and I can see why. Although the location is a bit of a hassle with no immediate available parking, you can find a spot in one of the side streets. The staff are very friendly and don't mind taking you through their menu. The inside of the shop is clean and well furnished, without feeling crowded. Their prices are a bit steep for what they offer, but what they offer is quite good. I paid $4.50 for a nitro brew that was served in a small cup and $10 for a pulled pork sandwich. Both tasted really great, but the coffee was served in a small cup since the portion was so small. The sandwich itself was large and tasted great, I wish they used their own buns instead of the generic supermarket stuff for the money.
I will come here again since the coffee tastes good and the service is A+, if you're on a really tight budget you'll want to skip this place.
