We often go to the Russian Banya for the atmosphere and excellent food. The ownership and the wait staff is extremely attentive to your needs and the food is very well prepared and tastes authentic and delicious.
If you have never had Russian food or if you love Russian food, you must go.
There is also live entertainment and a world class banya for your health. It is overall, the best place in DFW to go for a truly Russian experience.
I love the food and service of this place. Marina created so cozy atmosphere and you feel like at home there. We ordered "chicken tapaka", shashliks, and soooo delicious "chebureki", samsa, baklava and amazing "Napoleon" cake. Highly recommend this place for all people of all nationalities who likes comfort delicious food!

I just went with my two cousins Tommy and Joey. I had no idea what to expect. The Russian Banya Restaurant is Terrific and it's BYOB too. We shared everything (7 dishes) family style since this was a culinary adventure for 3 Italian guys. We had the herring in a fur coat, beef dumplings,stuffed cabbage, lamb kabobs and several other delicious items I cannot remember (Five Big Stars). Everything here was authentic, made from scratch and actually better than we expected, including the service (it's down to earth delicious). It's in a nondescript strip mall with tan colored bricks and painted windows at the intersection of Marsh Lane and W. Rosemead Parkway, slightly hidden from view. PLEASE tell all your facebook friends about this great place. They will all thank you for it. It's not easy to describe Russian food since it is so new to me, but just trust me. I'm a true foodie and this place is "special." I'm thrilled to find such a great restaurant right here in my own neighborhood. This is a great place to host a private party as well since their prices are very affordable and the food is terrific.
