Great food. Cool small ethnic plates to share. Not too many vegetarian options and no vegan options at all. Good service and a nice casual atmosphere.
The food was very delicious. I loved their take of Indian classics, like the carrot riata. The drinks were decent, but not very balanced. The service was fast but not welcoming. We were nearly the only people in the place and would have lingered, but felt like we were imposing. Also, their lunch menu on the weekend doesn't include any dessert options.
Definitely a must-stop food experience in Charleston! The menu is constantly different, so it's exciting to go in and see what is available. We shared the butter chicken, three veggie curries, garlic naan, the coco rice balls and basmati rice, and it was all phenomenal. Some of it definitely had some heat to it, but the flavor was so incredible, it's worth enduring the heat! I easily could eat a huge bowl of the butter chicken or the rice balls. We left very full and satisfied, and so incredibly happy we had heard about this place recently! For a truly unique and memorable food experience, stop by Tu!
