A high end resto in the exclusive South Park area in Charlotte. Interior was absolutely great with high ceiling, unique lamp & wall fixtures. Although it was crowded at lunch time, the ambience was still very pleasant.
In term of food, most of them come in big (if not huge) portion. My cobb salad came in a 30cm-diameter plate with all stuffs piling up on it from blue cheese, cherry tomato, bacon crisps, grilled chicken, crushed boiled eggs, romaine, avocado, etc. Even the kid's meal was big, just like adult size meal in other resto. Taste wise, they were all great.
- Avocado egg rolls were crispy on the outside and soft inside accompanied with greenish sweet dipping sauce. Great appetizer.
- Fried mac n cheese was tasty. They were very generous with cheese, although I can't say the same for the tomato sauce.
- Shrimp fettucini alfredo was delicious, not too creamy, not too runny, just right. The pasta was cooked to the perfection.
- Spaghetti meatball was great, as well. Although my nephew complained that there were only 2 meatballs in it.
- I almost forgot the crab bite (appetizer). Consists only of 6 pcs, this was the least likeable meal today. Nothing special, just deep fried shredded crab meat ball. Slightly lack of seasoning, I reccon.
Service was great though. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant lunch experience. It's a pity the same chain resto back in Indonesia can't hold a stick to this one.
My favorite grab-and-go joint, whenever I drop in at South Park mall for shopping. This place gets extremely busy on weekends with long wait times as it is a very popular.
My “go-to” dish here has got to be Chicken Madeira! It comprises of sautéed chicken with mushrooms, asparagus and the yummiest mashed potatoes! The sauce itself is delicious.
The Bang-Bang chicken and shrimp is also good - really liked the coconut, peanut and curry flavors.
I have also tried their Tomato Basil pasta and Ligurian Pesto pasta, both of which were nice. The serving was generous and I had to share.
It’s very hard to choose from the great variety of delicious cheesecakes!
Wild blueberry white chocolate, Chocolate Tuxedo cream, Fresh strawberry are few of the flavors I have tried and liked a lot, but what takes the cake for me is Dulce de leche Caramel cheesecake - pure paradise!
The best food I have tasted in Charlotte. The calamari was well done and deep fried with awesome chicken samosas and cilantro sauce. The quesadillas were awesome and the guacamole was great! Godiva chocolate cheesecake and red velvet cheesecake were the best on the dessert menu!
