A rustic local Mexican restaurant. Seems to be pretty authentic and there were several Spanish speaking customers there while I was eating dinner. I had the Tuesday special, two bean burritos for $6.99. One burrito was beef and the other chicken. The chicken one was very delicious. The staff was not very friendly, maybe a cultural thing, but I was attended to quickly and once my order was placed, I received it very quickly.
Miguel's was highly recommended by the shuttle bus driver of the hotel I'm staying at nearby. A simple-looking establishment serving up high quality food with great prices. I was blown away with mouth watering, fresh and authentic Mexican food dishes! The presentation was 5 star and the taste, also a 5 star experience. I had the Texan Margarita and selected it to be made with Patron... it was delicious. I checked out the recent "favorites" on the last pg of the menu and ordered the Quesabirrias which were so flavorful and amazing!! Antonio our server was very friendly and suggestive as to which food items or drinks were fan favorites. Our food came out quick. We all said it's too bad we don't have a spot like this back home. We were so pleased to have enjoyed such a great dinner while only being in town for one night while on a layover. Would recommend coming here and trying any of the dishes. The Bacon and Cheese potatoes were great, along with the Chicken Soup and Shrimp Cocktail.
This was such a cute restaurant and the staff was great. Antonio was so sweet! All the food and drinks were good. And we didn't feel rushed whatsoever, although we left right at close. If we're ever back in town, we will definitely be back!!
